Integrated Stabilization Training:
Core (postural), Neuromuscular/NM (balance), and Reactive NM (power)
Core strength, the beginning point for all movement, is a necessary foundation to allow for optimal force reduction, production, and transference throughout the kinetic chain. Balance must be addressed in order for the nervous system to allow muscles to work synergistically and perform at an optimal level. Good postural alignment and balance are the necessary building blocks of power.
Integrated Flexibility Training:
(including corrective, active, and functional) is a multifaceted approach to achieve optimum soft tissue extensibility; correct muscle imbalances, increase range of motion, decrease muscle hypertonicity (increased activity), relieve joint stress, improve the extensibilty of the musculotendinous junction, maintain the normal function length of all muscles, obtain optimum neuromuscular efficiency and functional movement throughout all planes of motion.
Integrated Strength Training:
(including starting, explosive, and reactive) offers adaptive benifits such as improved cardiovascular efficiency, benificial endocrine and serumlipid adaptations, increased lean body mass, increased metabolic efficiency, increased tissue tensile strength, and increased bone density.
Integrated Cardiorespiratory Training: Decreases daily fatigue, anxiety, depression, coronary artery disease (CAD), hypertension, non-insulin dependant diabetes mellitus, cancer, osteoperosis, obesity, and increases work, recreational, and sports performance, sense of well being, blood lipid profile, insilin sensitivity, glucose tolerance, immunity, and body-composition changes.
